Rod band's, rod tubes & other rod protectors

The simplest rod holder is the rod band. If you want to get to the waterside as fast as possible then the rod band might be the best solution for you, if you want to take two rods to the waterside, then two rod bands should be more than enough. Rod bands are small fabric holders that will keep all the parts together, Sometimes the rod bans will have a small storage bag where the assembles lead can be stored, so it doesn’t damage the rods, of course you can also just use it to keep the parts together. A carp hold all extends the longevity of your expensive rods and makes it so your rods are in clear view. A hold all is an investment that will be worth every penny.

A very different kind of protection for the carp rod offers the rod tube. This is mainly designed to prevent the heaviest smacks and damages possible for a carp rod. A damaged rod during transport of your rods is almost impossible with a rod tube. They are often made of PVC, a very light and super strong plastic. There are also combinations of cardboard with fabric or nylon. It is especially important that the fishing rod tube is lightweight and super strong. It is therefore ideal for transport by plane.
A rod tube for a carp rod provides protection for 1 rod. It is not recommended to place several rods in one tube, this quickly causes scratches or defective eyes. What is unfortunate about the rod tube is that it has to be transported without the carp reel, because of this you can not store the rod properly. In addition, the rod is placed loose in the tube meaning that the rod can stil get slightly damaged to the eyes or bottom/top of the rod.

Tip: provide damping in the bottom and top of the rod tube, this prevents the rings from jumping out of the hook.
