Carp holdall's

A holdall is a kind of protective bag for your rods. It ensures protection of your rods and makes transporting them even easier. A carp holdall is this made for your carp rods. A carp holdall is different from other holdalls due by its length and size. The majority is made for 2-partial carp rods of 12 ft and offer space for 3 rods which you can store together with the carp reels. But nowadays, more and more short carp rods are available, so the range of carp rods have been expanded from 9 ft to 13 ft. To avoid misunderstandings: this length does not say anything about the case but only about the length of the rods that fit into it. There are carp holdall's for 2 up to sometimes even 5 carp rods with carp reels.

In addition, there is often a space on the inside for loose carp rods such as the spod rod, marker rod or just a spare rod. The inside is also very suitable for other items such as a fishing umbrella or landing net. They are usually protected from each other by a lined wall. Also, carp holdall often has one or more storage compartments on the outside in which a lot of carp tackle can be stored safely, such as the rod pod and banksticks.
Next to tahat, holdall alls are standard equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap and sometimes also a handle. The shoulder strap ensures you that your hands are free to lift other carp tackle.
A carp holdall sounds like the best option, but remember all the possibilities make sure that a holdall is very full and heavy.
If you want to take just 1 rod to the water side or you want to keep it as basic as possible, than rod bands or tip & butt protectors are more suitable for you.
If a holdall does not offer enough storage options and / or too little protection, then a quiver combo with rod sleeves is recommended.

Tip: buy carp holdall's on the same size as your carp rods. Which means; if you have 12ft rods then buy a 12ft holdall. The reel compartments are often made on the same height as the size of the rods.
